James Barratt,

James is the co-captain and co-founder of Baldman Consulting, a marketing agency based in Newcastle, New South Wales Australia.

A proud father of 3, James loves spending time with his family and experimenting in the kitchen. He reckons he is not bad on the Weber and can knock up a good chilli sauce. His wife also says he makes a good crumb.

An avid reader and fisherman, James loves the outdoors and enjoys nothing more than being on the water or in the bush.

He holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Newcastle with a double major in Marketing and Management and an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business. James is a member of the Australian Marketing Institute and is a Certified Practicing Marketer (CPM). The Certified Practicing Marketer designation is the only peak professional benchmark of its kind for marketers in the Asia Pacific Region. Unlike tertiary or vocational education, CPM is the recognition of both formal education and successful application of marketing knowledge and skills.

Google recognizes James as an AdWords certified professional, meaning that he’s passed multiple exams that assess his product expertise. He’s qualified to help you grow your business on the web using Google AdWords.  James has also earned his wings and is a graduate of the Twitter Flight School.

Having enjoyed an extensive career in sales, marketing and management, James has an intimate understanding of sales funnels and lead generation as well as the need for marketing and sales efforts to complement one another and be in line with the business goals.

James’ career has taken him across Australia and Europe including numerous remote locations where he worked closely with indigenous communities in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

James has an enviable sales record and has held several senior positions up to Board level.
